Depends on style, license, and whether you need an API. Open the Flux and Hugging Face cards, then the vendor playground. We do not invent quality scores.
Video vs image?
Video (Veo and similar) costs more per generation and is slower. Start with image unless you actually need motion.
Can I self-host?
Often yes for image weights on Hugging Face. Hosted video APIs are the usual path if you do not have GPUs.
