NotebookLM is still the research product people search for, but Google renamed it Gemini Notebook on 2026-07-16 (first-party post). Same standalone tool at notebook.google, now wired into the Gemini app and Search. Google said 30 million people and 600,000 organizations were using it at rename time; that is their claim, not a number we audited. Ultra/Workspace got a per-notebook cloud computer for code-on-sources first; Pro on the web was scheduled to follow. Keep the notebooklm URL so old searches still land.
