Skin Health Analyzer

Skin Health Analyzer is a Claude Code skill from WellAlly Health (formerly Claude-Ally-Health), an MIT-licensed, local-first personal health record project maintained by WellAlly Tech. You record skin concerns, moles, skincare routines, sun exposure, and dermatologist visits with the /skin command, and the skill analyzes those records over time. Its documentation puts particular weight on mole monitoring and skin cancer prevention.

Not a diagnosis. Every skin problem should be diagnosed and treated by a dermatologist. Any change in a mole needs prompt medical attention, and skin cancer cannot be ruled out by self-assessment or by this skill.

What it analyzes

• Trends in recorded concerns (acne, eczema, pigmentation and others), mole changes, whether a skincare routine is helping, and sun-protection habits.
• Mole checks with the ABCDE rule. Asymmetry, border, color, diameter, and evolution are each scored 0 to 2. A total of 4 or more triggers a recommendation to see a doctor.
• Risk estimates for skin cancer (based on Fitzpatrick skin type, sun exposure, mole count and features, sunburn history, family history, and tanning-bed use), acne severity, allergy triggers, and photoaging.
• Correlations with the nutrition, chronic disease, medication, and endocrine modules in the same project.
• Reminders for self-exams and dermatologist follow-ups.

How to use it

WellAlly Health is a Claude Code project, not a standalone package. Clone it and start Claude Code in the folder:

The /skin command supports concern, mole, routine, exam, sun, status, trend, reminder, and screening. Examples adapted from the upstream docs (which are written in Chinese):

Output

Status summaries, trend reports, risk levels with the main contributing factors, and suggestions for routine, lifestyle, and sun protection. Mole changes and worsening problems raise warnings, and the skill keeps track of when your next check is due.

Limitations

The skill documents its own limits clearly:

• It cannot replace a dermatologist's exam, dermoscopy, pathology, or biopsy.
• Results depend on how accurate and complete your records are, and on photo quality where photos are used.
• AI image analysis of moles and lesions is listed as a planned feature, not a current one.
• Product suggestions may not suit everyone.

FAQ

Can it tell me whether a mole is melanoma? No. The ABCDE score is a screening prompt that tells you when to see a doctor. Only a clinician can make that call.

Does my data leave my machine? Records are stored as local files. The analysis runs through Claude Code, so the content you ask about is sent to the model Claude Code uses.
